TLC Care and Support has launched a new scheme in Clacton for people with learning disabilities and complex needs.
We are offering seven apartments for rent at York Mews, a recently refurbished complex in the High Street.
There are six one-bed apartments and the seventh has two beds, all redecorated to a high standard, along with brand new kitchen appliances and bathrooms.
Chelsea Warman, the Registered Manager for York Mews, said: “We are inviting applications from people who require supported living services and we have also created a number of social care jobs locally, which have seen keen interest. There will be care staff on site 24/7 plus there will be access to one-to-one support workers for any individuals who require this particular service.”
Alan Betts, TLC Operations Director, added: “York Mews is our first development since being taken over by new owners a year ago. We have seen significant investment across our business and in the people who work for us, with exciting career opportunities across the social care sector.
“Our main site, Blamsters Farm in Halstead, has recently been rated by CQC as Outstanding for being Responsive, and Good across all other categories, including Safe, Effective, Caring and Well-led.
“We will be using our high levels of skills and expertise gained over many years across our residential care and supported living services in Essex, Suffolk and Hertfordshire for people in Clacton who require our support.”
Auckland Homes have been appointed to support tenants with their rent requirements, as well as maintenance and repairs.
