The Coach House at Blamsters Farm in Halstead has two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and private lounges but shared kitchen facilities.
The people who live here have learning disabilities and complex needs and are supported on a 24-hour basis.
This house is staffed during the day and shares night staff with Blamsters Cottage.
All of our staff team have varied backgrounds but all with the same values and passions. We believe in supporting individuals in a person-centred way and our aim is to one day get them ready for independent living by empowering and promoting their independence.
We support people with varied tasks and activities ranging from personal care and preparing meals to supporting them on their chosen holidays.
They enjoy different activities from sensory drives, bowling, lunches and dinners out and college weekly. We believe they should all live a meaningful and productive life.
Summer time consists of BBQ’s with other homes on site, day trips to the nearby seaside towns, holidays and walks across the beautiful fields surrounding us.
Winter time we have movie days, indoor activities such arts and crafts, along with all the regular activities such as lunches out and bowling.
All year round we all look forward to special occasion parties such as birthdays, Hallowe’en, Easter egg hunts, firework night and Christmas time!
