TLC Report 2018
The Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017 requires organisations employing more than 250 employees to undertake Gender Pay Reporting and published results on both the companies and government website within one calendar year of 5th of April 2017.
TLC Care Homes Limited report covers the “snapshot” date of the 5th of April 2018 and comprises of our figures demonstrating the difference between the average earnings of men and women in our organisation on that particular date.
TLC Care Homes Limited is an organisation working within the Health and Social Care Profession which predominantly employs more female than male staff due to the nature of the work undertaken. The % split between male and female staff is Male (37.5 %) and Female (62.5%)
Summary of our published information
Based on our “snapshot” data we can confirm that there is no Gender Pay Gap between male and female staff employed within the organisation in terms of our hourly rates of pay
Our figures show that for the reporting period, we do have a Bonus Pay Gap, being 6.1% for Male employees and 4.6% for female employees. This is predominantly due to Bonus payments being made to our maintenance staff for keeping within set budgets. We have 3 maintenance staff all being of male gender.
Our published information shows a proportionate split between male and female employees based on the organisation’s employed staffing figures.
TLC Care Homes Limited will continuously review its policy and procedures to ensure that Gender Pay Gap issues are addressed. Our HR Department will continue to develop recruitment and retention initiatives to ensure that our equality policy is adhered to and that, as an organisation, our culture and values in terms being an equal opportunity employer continues to be at the heart of the company.
