Deputy Manager

Working at TLC is enormously varied and fulfilling. No two days are the same, but every day ends with a sense that you’ve made a difference to people’s lives.

We provide person-centred support for adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex mental health needs. We help the people we support to maximise their potential and increase their independence, choice and community inclusion.

As the Deputy Manager you will be the first point of contact for all daily operations and play a vital role in making that happen. You will produce person-centred care plans, organise and supervise the duties of colleagues, communicate with families and act as a positive role model.

Experience within the health and social care sector is required as well as previous management experience. The Deputy Manager will need excellent communication skills, great commercial awareness, and the ability to build and maintain positive relationships. However, the most important qualification is a caring, compassionate and patient nature, and a desire to have a lasting positive impact on the lives of the people we support.

· Preparing rotas and supporting with recruitment.

· Contributing to the assessment, planning and implementation of person-centred care plans and new support packages.

· Using appropriate communication methods with the people we support, their families and the support teams.
