At TLC Care & Support we provide support to people who have either a learning disability, an autistic spectrum condition with associated complex challenging needs and / or a mental health diagnosis. We also support people with a range of other needs including epilepsy, physical disabilities and associated health needs.

We support people aged 16 and over across the South East, Suffolk and Hertfordshire. We are expanding our services into Northamptonshire.

What we offer

We can offer you or your family member a range of residential care services.

We currently manage 12 residential care homes – providing high quality services to people age 16 and over.

Our main residential service is located at Blamsters Farm in Halstead which has 7 homes on site.

We also have residential care homes at Acorn Avenue, Blamsters Link in Halstead, one in Weeley Heath near Clacton and two in St Osyth.

We are a growing organisation – developing new services in response to demand locally.

Our services are very spacious with large bedrooms, modern facilities and a mix of communal spaces and gardens.

In many of our properties we also provide self-contained annexes which are ideally suited to individuals who require more privacy and space.

We will work at the referral stages to explore the best service for you.

Come and visit

Our residential services are always open, and we welcome you to come and meet our teams and explore the provision we have on offer.

Our highly trained teams provide personal and enablement care 24/7 so you or your family member can live as independently and safely as possible – with all the support needed to achieve your goals and empower you towards more independent living.

The principal focus of all support we offer is based on the ethos of ‘Positive Behaviour Support’ and ‘Person Centred Active Support’. Working with people to learn new skills, enable better communication and ultimately become more independent.

We support people to move on from residential services when the time is right and onto more independence within supported living services and in the community. Likewise, our support keeps people safe, ensures that identified risks are managed well and empowers people to take part in new activities & experiences in line with wishes.

We encourage everyone to achieve their goals – tailoring our support to meet individual needs, promote enablement and deliver outcomes.

We will work with you and your family member at every stage – from assessing needs, finding individual service requirements and providing high-quality person-centred support.
